We believe very strongly in supporting worthwhile causes and initiatives in the community.
Recently, we made a contribution to the local lifeboat crew in Eastbourne. The RNLI are an incredible organisation, doing a remarkable job in the treacherous seas that surround the UK.
Locally, we are supporting the Save the DGH campaign. The closure of core hospital services for a town as big as Eastbourne is a disaster.
We are also currently working with a number of schools and colleges to help turn young students into fully qualified and highly skilled tradesmen and women.
The building industry relies on the availability of a skilled workforce. This is being achieved through our links into education and supporting full and part time vocational learning.
Our commitment to the communities we work in is also reflected in our determination to recruit local people to key positions whenever possible.
We want to encourage people into the building industry by showing them the varied career paths that exist.
When appropriate we will provide the media with details of all these worthwhile schemes and highlight the roles Ellis people are playing in our communities.
