We invest heavily in their training to ensure our performance on site always achieves the high standards we demand and exceeds the expectations of the people we work for.
We were one of the first building contractors to receive the Investor in People Award. This accreditation was only achieved after external assessment and evaluation of how we meet a rigorous set of standards:
- a commitment from the top to develop all staff where they can achieve business objectives
- a regular and robust system for staff appraisal and identification of training needs
- evidence of staff training that is clearly helping our people do their job and achieve in the workplace
- on-going assessment of how training and development is helping to meet company goals
Periodically, the company is required to undergo Investor in People reviews to check if we are still maintaining our high standards in staff development. Each time the IIP assessors have visited we have passed with flying colours.
